Brothers Gary and Paul O’Donovan from Skibbereen Co.Cork, did Ireland proud last week after claiming the silver medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls with an impressive time of 6:23.72.

Immediately after winning the first Olympic medal for Ireland in Rio so far, as well as the first-ever Olympic medal for Ireland in rowing, the Cork brothers had an interview with RTÉ where they expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the people of Ireland and everyone who supported them thus far.
