In other Sport 4 Development News, The annual Cycle against Suicide Cycle went off without a hitch last week, even the dab weather could not stop the brave souls who finished the 14 day cycle against suicide. A sea of orange covered the landscape as the cyclists arrived back at the RTÉ Studios & Offices in Donnybrook, Dublin on Sunday to the cheers of onlookers.
With more than 800 people committing suicide each year here in Ireland, the cycle aimed to bring this to the attention of the masses and bring about a dialog of conversation about mental health and getting the message out that ‘it’s ok not to feel ok; and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help’.
Sport4development Ireland wishes to congratulate everybody who took part in this year’s cycle
