The first of three films over three evenings in three venues to celebrate this the 3rd year of International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (April 6th). Each screening is preceded by a moderated panel discussion on the main themes of the film and will be worth coming along for on their own.

7pm Panel discussion of themes – gender inequality in sport
Panel moderator: Breifne Earley, Speaker, Coach, Broadcaster & World Cycle Race Champion 2014/15.
Panel members include: Nicole Drought, Racing Driver and Jenney Byrne, Founder of SEIFA Ireland.
8pm Screening of the film ‘Speed Sisters’ (2015)
A fascinating film about an all female motor racing team in Palestine. Pushing for the right to race in a male dominated sport in a male dominated society requires strength of character, exceptional drive and determination and of course incredible driving skills.
