Maracycle for Peace & Co-operation in Ireland
“Ride the Wild Atlantic Way”
Following Co-operation Ireland’s successful and fun ‘Ride the Wild Atlantic Way’ held in May this year, we are repeating another home bike ride in September 2016, once again taking in part of the Wild Atlantic Way, this time in West Cork. Beautiful scenic routes with a base at the fabulous Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.

Other News from Maracycle:
On 1 July 1984, 1,200 cyclists left City Hall Belfast and the Mansion House Dublin simultaneously to spend two days riding between the two cities. They did so to show their support for an end to violence and a peaceful future for all our people. Co-operation Ireland Maracycle was born. 65,000 participants can now claim to have cycled between Dublin and Belfast in support of Ireland’s leading peace building charity. Over the weekend of 28/29 June 2014 over 800 cyclists joined together with people from throughout the island to celebrate 30 years of biking across borders in support of the peace building programmes of Co-operation Ireland.
We look forward to seeing you all there in 2016!
